Veteran defender Ben Mee has said goodbye to his former club Brentford, with the pair set to part ways after their contract expires at the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 35-year-old is out of contract at Brentford until June 30 and is not set to sign a new deal, so Sunday’s game will be his last at the Gtech Community Stadium before his deal expires on June 30.

“This Sunday will be my last game at Gtech,” said Mee, who joined Brentford in July 2022.

“I would like to thank the Bees fans for their support during my three years there. It really meant a lot to โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที me.”

“This is a unique club with great people. I am very proud and grateful to have had the opportunity to play here.”

“I still have a lot to give on the pitch and I will look for opportunities to do that elsewhere next season. But for now let’s hope we finish the season on the best footing.”

Brentford head coach Thomas Frank added: “Ben has been fantastic for us. His first season was outstanding; he was a big part of us finishing ninth in the Premier League.

“He has not had as many minutes in the two seasons since then, but he has always performed when called upon. Ben is a top pro and a top person – he will be missed. We wish him all the best for the future.”
